We apologize for the lateness of this, but there have been some technical trouble with the Princess’ laptop, so this had to be delayed a bit. For the record, our technical trouble have nothing to do with Nimo needing the toilet.
So the Pirates went to Russia, saw and conquered. Here are the chronicles of how it happened…
It all started on August the 22nd, and while the H.E. Crew had a mini-party for the Princess’ birthday, the Pirates were packing. Nimo was in that “what-am-I-forgeting” panic mode we all know:
“I’m preparing for leaving to Russia but, appearing to be forgetting things is scary … I have sunscreen, my DS, what else do I need? Lol”
Don’t worry Captain, all you need is your underwear and your swimming gear and then you can safely float to Russia.
“If I’d forget my contacts, that’d be the end of it! It would be like performing with Nobita-kun! (◎_◎;) Lol”
(*Nobita-kun is a character from the show Doraemon who wears glasses and has very poor sight. Is your eyesight really that bad Captain? It could explain your ability to get lost on a straight road…)
Some of Nimo’s friends added helpful suggestions to what he was forgetting. Our favorite was SDI’s Taketo’s: Vodka. Nimo however claimed that if he’d do it wrong he’d end up passing out during the trip. Which seems a likely scenario.
Meanwhile, Rookie was not at all panicking:
“My preparation always is just throwing things into my trunk at the last moment… Well, up till now it worked out so this time it will be okay too, right! Roo-sama is looking forward to going abroad again since a long time(^-^)”
Toshi was also not panicking, but he was very concerned about his underwear:
“Alright, let’s start the final preparations~!”
“Would 3 pair of underpants be enough? If not, I’ll put on air pants so nothing will be fine too right lol”
No, Toshi. Bad Toshi. No going commando in Russia. You’ll definitely catch a cold. Air pants are not known for being warm!
(Update: apparently he got a liking to this air-pants thing, because just earlier today on the Niconico Band Talk when they called Toshi on the phone, he mentioned he was pantless.)
The next day, the 23rd, was the day of the departure. They were very excited:
“I’m off! Let’s FIRE up in Russiaaaaaa ψ(｀∇´)ψ” “Yoho,Yoho,tide is high♪Sail away to sky(^-^)Wait for us,Russia!!I’ll bring back loads of souvenirs!!”<–Rookie, thinking of their Japanese fans. Now I wonder if by ‘souvenirs’ he meant the alcohol…
Though he would not be joining the pirates this time, designer Heloc lived along with every moment (like a proud yet worried mother hen dude person.)
“Safely saw everyone of A off~ FIRE up in Russia!! I hope A will reach many people (^o^)/ Take care~”
Then they arrived, and the first thing they did was tweeting they had arrived safely.
“Arrived safely~(^-^)/ Though many hours passed it’s still evening here!” Ah, the magic of time-travel
“Arrived safely in Moscow!”
You know, for those fans who have paranoid mom-tendencies (and Heloc). Which would not be strange tendencies to have considering how dangerous it is to just float like zombie twigs all the way.
The next thing they did was EAT.

I suppose they must’ve worked up quite an appetite, what with the 2 hour transit in Korea, the next 8-9 hours to Russia, customs and the car trip, must’ve been exhausting.
Apparently, the weather was quite chilly. Toshi said 15ºC, and he seemed determined to warm it up all on his own:
